Kim Kardashian becomes the brand ambassador for Balenciaga
The American star, designer, and model Kim Kardashian has become the official brand ambassador for Balenciaga. Her love for the brand's creations has been noted several times. She attended many large-scale events as a special guest in the clothes of a French fashion house. For instance, the star chooses clothes from Balenciaga for the annual Met gala ball, the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the SNL evening music show, and even for ordinary walks.
Balenciaga is a fashion house founded in 1919 by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga. Cristobal was not afraid of experiments and often changed standard clothing models. He created patterns for bold, special clothes and complex patterns at one time. Balenciaga changed the usual formulaic silhouette by widening the shoulders and dropping the waist. The first designer to opt-out of being a member of the Paris Haute Couture Syndicate, as well as taking part in the show's usual schedule. Balenciaga showed an example that an artist can be free and successful.
The official Balenciaga brand page has removed all of its photos and videos previously posted on Instagram. Later, as a part of the advertising campaign, a post with photos of Kim Kardashian in different clothes was published.

In addition to Kim, the actress of the “French cinema”, 68-year-old Isabelle Huppert, participated in the advertising campaign of the fashion brand. This is not her first collaboration with Balenciaga. In 2021, on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, she was in a garment from the fashion brand and after a while, together with the singer Justin Bieber, she participated in a photoshoot for the mark.
