Almaty entered the top 100 best cities in the world
Akim of the metropolis Bakytzhan Sagintayev announced this on his Twitter account. “According to the British consulting company Studee, Almaty entered the top 100 best cities in the world for students.
According to such criteria as the average cost of living and rental housing, Internet speed, the number of universities included in international rankings, our city took 76th place, ”wrote Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
In the analysis, the Studee researchers also took into account the total number of young people aged 15 to 24 living in the city, the quality of food, as well as the level of safety and freedom of speech.
World cities such as Tokyo, Melbourne, Seoul, Quebec and Adelaide have become leaders in the international ranking. At the same time, Almaty is located right behind New York, ahead of Warsaw. By the way, Moscow is in 84th place in this rating, and St. Petersburg - in 98th.
