Bibisara Asaubaeva named best chess player in Asia

Bibisara Asaubaeva from Kazakhstan was named the best female chess player in Asia 2021.

This was announced by the chess player herself on her Instagram page. "Yesterday the FIDE awards ceremony took place - the 15th world champion Viswanathan Anand presented me with the "Best Chess Player in Asia 2021" award. Thank you FIDE for appreciating my work," Asaubaeva wrote.

Bibisara Asaubaeva is Grandmaster among women, International Master among men and also the youngest ever world blitz champion (2021).

Asaubayeva is now playing for Kazakhstan at the World Chess Olympiad in India.
