Congratulations by the Head of State on International Women's Day

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated all people concerned on International Women's Day, March 8. In his speech he noted the importance of women for our society, their professional activity in various spheres, their role in upbringing of children. The letter of congratulations was published on the official website of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

With all my heart I congratulate you on the International Women's Day!

This beautiful spring holiday has become an embodiment of beauty, kindness and love. Our proverb «Әйел бір қолымен бесікті тербетсе, бір қолымен әлемді тербетеді» has a deep symbolical meaning.

All conditions have been created in Kazakhstan for the self-realization of women. They find their vocation in education and health care, culture and sport, production and law enforcement.

Our women hold leadership positions in Government agencies and large companies and are successful in business. Their participation in public and political life is steadily increasing.

The role of mothers in the upbringing of the younger generation is invaluable. This noble work deserves sincere respect.

Women show professionalism and responsibility in every field and contribute to strengthening harmony, peace and mutual understanding.

Kazakhstan has entered a period of systemic transformation and political transformation. I am confident that the creative energy of our country's women will be a powerful driving force of the New Kazakhstan!
