Kazakhstan and Luxembourg are actively developing mutual economic ties and political dialogue. Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel visited Kazakhstan twice, in 2015 and 2017. The flow of Luxembourg's direct investments into the economy of Kazakhstan in 2021 is 17.5 million US dollars. Despite the geographic distance, cultural ties are actively developing. Measures such as holding photo exhibitions, showing Kazakh films, and organizing concerts have an impact on strengthening cultural cooperation. In 2021, such cultural projects as the organization of an exhibition of creative works of young Kazakhs with disabilities, on the theme "The world through the eyes of Kazakhstani children" and the release of postage stamps in Luxembourg in honor of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, aroused significant interest.

The modern potential of cooperation provides new opportunities for increasing trade, economic, investment, and cultural ties between the two states.

June 29 this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Luxembourg. Both states are taking significant steps aimed at expanding and strengthening cooperation.
