Kazakh women chess players are in the top 3 of the World Chess Olympiad

The Kazakh women's chess team is in the top three in the World Chess Olympiad rankings taking place these days in Chennai, India.

The Kazakhstani team managed to climb up to third place after defeating Bulgaria in the ninth round. Guliskhan Nakhbaeva and Zhansaya Abdumalik won their matches, while Kseniya Balabaeva and Bibisara Asaubaeva drew. Today Kazakhstan will play with the team of India, which occupies second place in the table.

We'll remind you that earlier it became known that Bibisara Asaubaeva was recognized the best chess player in Asia 2021.
