Movie studio "Kazakhfilm" received the Respect Award

During the closing ceremony of the Korkut Ata Turkic World Film Festival, which took place in Istanbul, the Kazakhfilm film studio was awarded a special prize for its contribution to the cinematography of the Turkic world.

 

 

 Turkish actress Fakhriye Evcen helped out the Respect Award to the president of the Kazakhfilm film studio Akan Sataev, who in his speech thanked the organizers of the festival for the honorary prize.

 A Kazakh delegation took part in the awards ceremony, including People's Artist of Kazakhstan Asanali Ashimov, President of the Kazakhfilm Film Studio Akan Sataev, Vice President of the Film Studio for Production Aidar Batalov, General Producer of the State Center for National Cinema Support NJSC Adai Abeldinov, Honored Workers of Kazakhstan - director Rustem Abdrashov, actors Berik Aitzhanov and Erkebulan Dairov, as well as actresses Almira Tursyn and Aruzhan Dzhazilbekova, director Nurgisa Almurat, producer Nurlan Koyanbaev and others. The event was also attended by the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aktoty Raimkulova.

 It should be noted that within the framework of the festival, the ministers of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum, which provides for such issues as the regular holding of the Korkut Ata Film Festival of the Turkic World by the countries mentioned above, as well as the cooperation development in the field of cinema among the aforementioned Turkic states.

 Recall that the Korkut Ata Turkic World Film Festival, which was held for the first time this year, was attended by 42 films from 13 countries.

The opening film of the festival was the historical film "Tomiris" directed by Akan Sataev.
