Two-time World Jiu-Jitsu Champion
Moldir Mekenbaeva won gold at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi. The Kazakh woman became the best in the weight category up to 52 kg in the non-vase section. Thus, Moldir became a two-time world champion.
We should note that during the tournament our compatriot didn’t give a single point to her rivals.
Also recently, Mekenbaeva became the first girl from Kazakhstan to receive a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu.
Kazakhstan entered the top three teams in the world at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi, having won 56 medals in total.
