Kazakhstani for the first time in history became a three-time MMA world champion
Kazakhstani Bagdat Zhubanysh became the first three-time champion in the history of MMA, mixed martial arts, which takes place in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Bagdat gained "gold", in the category up to 52.2 kilograms, having overcome in the square ring the Russian Farhod Rakhmanaliev.
Thus, Bagdat Zhubanysh became the world champion in MMA for the third time. It is important to note that even before the start of the tournament, the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), in one of the materials on its official website, predicted the victory of the Kazakh fighter and called him the “Rising Star of MMA”. The boxer himself said: “I will do my best to become a three-time world champion. I want to stay in history and glorify my country to the whole world.”
Previously, Bagdat Zhubanysh won the World Championship in 2018 and 2019.
