New Ambassador appointed to the Kazakhstan Embassy of the Republic of Maldives
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed new ambassadors to several countries. This is reported by the official website of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to India Zhalgasbayev Nurlan Adilyevich was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Kingdom of Bhutan, and the Republic of Maldives concurrently.
In addition, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Malaysia Sugurbaev Bolat Bolatovich was appointed to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Brunei-Darussalam concurrently.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has prepared a draft agreement on the mutual exemption from visa requirements between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Maldives.
By an official document, holders of valid travel documents are exempted from visa requirements for single or multiple entries, exit, transit, temporary stay in the territory of the state of the other party for a period not exceeding 30 calendar days from the date of arrival.
However, those who come for employment, study, or business purposes for more than 30 calendar days must obtain the appropriate visa required by state law.
The draft agreement is posted for public discussion on the website of "open legal acts" until February 4th.
