Worthy of his people
On January 12, 2022 Dinmuhamed Akhmedovich Kunayev marks his 110th birthday.
Dinmukhamed Kunayev was an outstanding statesman. First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Kazakh SSR, thrice Hero of Socialist Labour, President of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. In Kazakhstan of Kunayev's epoch there was no stagnation in the republic. Industrial production grew by 9 times, construction by 8 times, agriculture by 6 times. The republic became a major centre of fuel and energy industry.
From 1955 to 1985 in Almaty city were appeared buildings, which were awarded the State Prize of the USSR and the Kazakh SSR, landscaped avenues, streets, squares, squares, smart houses, beautiful administrative buildings, monuments on the largest squares.
